Our Services
SERVICES FOR HOMELESS
Emergency Shelter:
Provide temporary shelter for individuals and families experiencing
homelessness. This could include overnight shelters, transitional housing, and
emergency shelter services during extreme weather conditions.
Housing Assistance Programs:
Offer support services to help homeless individuals and families secure stable
housing. This may involve rental assistance, housing subsidies, landlord-tenant
mediation, and assistance with navigating the housing application process.
Case Management Services:
Assign case managers to homeless individuals and families to assess their
needs, develop personalized housing plans, and connect them with appropriate
resources and support services. Case managers can provide ongoing support and
advocacy to help individuals overcome barriers to housing stability.
Basic Needs Assistance:
Provide essential services such as food, clothing, hygiene supplies, and access
to showers and laundry facilities for homeless individuals and families.
Collaborate with local food banks, clothing closets, and other organizations to
meet the basic needs of those experiencing homelessness.
Healthcare Services:
Offer access to healthcare services for homeless individuals, including medical
care, mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, and preventive care.
Partner with healthcare providers, clinics, and hospitals to ensure that
homeless individuals receive timely and appropriate healthcare services.
Employment and Job Training Programs:
Develop job training programs, vocational training, and employment assistance
services to help homeless individuals gain the skills and resources needed to
secure stable employment. Offer resume writing workshops, job readiness
training, and job placement assistance to support their transition to the
workforce.
Education and Supportive Services:

Legal Aid and Advocacy:

and reentry efforts.
Family Support Services: Offer support services and resources to the families of
prisoners, including childcare assistance, counseling, financial support, and
help accessing community resources. Facilitate communication between prisoners
and their families through visitation programs, phone calls, and other means of
contact.
Education and Job Training Programs: Provide educational opportunities and job training programs
for prisoners to acquire new skills and qualifications that will increase their
employability upon release. Offer courses on topics such as literacy, GED
preparation, vocational training, and entrepreneurship to help individuals
build a brighter future.
Substance Abuse Treatment: Develop substance abuse treatment programs for prisoners
struggling with addiction issues. Offer counseling, support groups, and access
to evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy
(CBT) or medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help individuals overcome
substance abuse disorders.
